Planning Your Trip
Route Planning

For a smooth trip to your luxury vacation home with a pool, we recommend that you plan your route carefully in advance.
Popular navigation apps such as Google Maps and Waze are very reliable.
Both apps show traffic jams and alternative routes. Wyze has a feature that alerts you when there’s a speed camera. Not that we want to encourage you to speed, of course; the real-time information provided by this app is amazingly accurate.

Essential Tips for Making Your Pet’s Trip Enjoyable

It’s no small thing for your pet to have to take a long car trip. A few tips that we always follow ourselves:

  • We feed our dog no more than 3 hours in advance.
  • We give the dog small amounts of water and food during the trip (such as special, collapsible travel food bowls)
  • We take a break every 2 hours. It’s good for us and very important for the dog.
  • There are some beautiful rest areas along the highway where we walk the dog.
